Terms of Use

By using the Service, the user accepts these Terms of Use.

1. General information

  • The Recipy service is operated by Łukasz Jałocha within the European Union (“Administrator”).
  • These Terms apply to all users of the Service.
  • The Service is developed as an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), so functionalities may change.

2. Nature of the service

  • Recipy is an online tool that automatically generates recipes based on user-provided data, in particular:
    • list of allowed and blocked ingredients,
    • number of servings,
    • meal type.
  • Generated recipes may be saved in the user's account history.
  • Content in the Service is generated automatically using AI models and may contain errors or inaccuracies.

3. No specialist advice

  • Content available in the Service does not constitute medical, dietary, or health advice.
  • Users are responsible for independently verifying:
    • allergens,
    • ingredient safety for consumption,
    • alignment of recipes with their health condition.
  • The Administrator is not liable for consequences of using generated content.

4. AI questions about recipes

  • AI answers may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always check allergens, cooking safety, and health considerations before following any suggestion.
  • Questions and answers may be stored with your recipe and processed by AI providers solely to deliver the requested response.
  • Do not submit sensitive personal data or medical details in questions.

5. User account

  • Using the Service requires a user account.
  • Registration and login occur via Google OAuth.
  • Users must use the Service in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.
  • The following are prohibited:
    • circumventing Service limits,
    • automated or mass content generation without the Administrator's consent,
    • actions that may disrupt the Service or compromise its security.

6. Usage plans (Free and Premium)

  • The Service offers different plans, including a free plan ("Free") and an extended plan ("Premium").
  • In the current version, plans may be assigned manually by the Administrator.
  • Functionality scope, limits, and available options may differ by plan.
  • The Administrator reserves the right to:
    • change plan scope,
    • introduce or modify Service usage limits,
    • temporarily provide selected features for tests or feature flags.

7. Service availability and changes

  • The Administrator strives to keep the Service running continuously but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
  • The Administrator may:
    • temporarily suspend Service operation,
    • introduce functional changes,
    • remove or add features without prior notice if technically or organizationally justified.

8. Liability

  • Use of the Service is at the user's own risk.
  • The Administrator is not liable for:
    • decisions made by the user based on generated content,
    • damages resulting from improper use of the Service,
    • Service interruptions due to technical reasons or reasons beyond the Administrator's control.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Administrator's liability is limited to damages caused intentionally.

9. Suspension or account deletion

  • The Administrator may suspend or delete a user account in case of Terms violations.
  • Users may delete their account at any time from the Service settings.
  • Account deletion results in loss of access to stored data, in line with the Privacy Policy.

10. Personal data

Rules for processing personal data are described in the Recipy Privacy Policy available in the Service.

11. Changes to the Terms

  • The Administrator may change the Terms in particular in case of:
    • service functionality development,
    • technological changes,
    • changes in legal requirements.
  • The current version of the Terms is always available in the Service.

12. Governing law

  • These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Poland.
  • Any disputes arising from use of the Service will be resolved by competent common courts.
